Downloads and Updates

There are several different versions of the STLinux Distribution that have been released, and may be downloaded. In general, the latest official version is to be preferred. For detailed instructions on how to effect (or update) an installation, then please refer to these instructions.

It should be noted that STMicroelectronics may sometimes make available putative Early Access Releases. These development EAR distributions should be treated similar to beta releases, and should be used with some caution. Specifically, it is not recommended to use EAR versions for production systems.

All the released packages (full releases, EARs, and incremental updates) may be downloaded directly via ftp://ftp.stlinux.com/pub/stlinux/.
